Self-efficacy of UK FTVS students for teaching health physical education

Title of the thesis: Self-efficacy of UK FTVS students for teaching health physical education The aim of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the level of self-efficacy or subjectively perceived competences and professional self-confidence of students in the final master's year of physical education at the UK FTVS in relation to the teaching of health physical education. The partial goal was to compare the results with previous research by Anna Šubertová (Šubertová, 2020). Methods: For the investigation with the character of mixed empirical research, a self-constructed questionnaire was used to collect data, which was created on the basis of revising Šubertová's (2020) previous research instrument. The research was carried out in May and June 2023, with the participation of 68 respondents of the final year of the follow-up master's studies in Applied Physical Education and Sport for People with Specific Needs and Physical Education Teaching for Secondary Schools at the UK FTVS. The participants were represented by 30 men and 38 women in the age range from 23 to 35 years. Body posture of pre-school children

This bachelor thesis deals with frequent occurence of the faulty posture among preschool children. Occurrence of children with faulty posture is unfortunately a growing trend. The first traces of muscular imbalances can be already found among preschool children. Faulty posture is a health problem which can result in a serious consequences. It is important to prevent this problem already at preschool age. The work inculdes theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part inculdes description of muscular system and body movement (human kinetics), correct posture and typical deviations from proper posture. Practical part is about my own research I made in a group of preschool children and the subsequent detection of a faulty posture in this group.

Title: Determination of the occurrence of poor posture and muscle imbalance of female students agend 15-19 and possibilities of influencing that by elements of health physical education. Objectives: The aim of this study is determination of change in posture and muscle imbalance due to regural health exercise for the period of 3 months Methods: Klein, Thomas and Mayer test method was used to determine posture of each proband. Functional tests of muscles with tendency to shorten were performed according to Bursová (2005), Hošková and Matoušová (2000), Pernicová et al. (1993). Functional tests of muscles with a tendency to become flabby were tested according to Hošková and Matoušová (2000). The method of theoretical analysis and synthesis was used for the chapter "Piece of knowledge" (Štumbauer, 1990). The chapter "Knowledge of data" was processed by Microsoft Office Excel. One-piece non-parametric Wilcoxon test was used to verify the results. Results: In the chapter "Results" we find detailed information about probands, which we have gained from the questionnaire and from a personal interview. Perceived professional competencies for inclusive physical education from the view of elementary school teachers in Prague

Title: Perceived professional competencies for inclusive physical education from the view of elementary school teachers in Prague Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to describe perceived competences of teachers in the professional fulfilment of the very essence of physical education (PE) in inclusive classes. The challenge is also to point out the barriers they face that prevent the safe and high-quality routing of PE in inclusive classes. At the same time, the intention is to outline the possibilities for systemic improvements. Methodology: 12 teachers (women, mean age = 45 years) from 6 primary schools involved in the Movement for Inclusion project participated in the study. The research used a qualitative methodology in the form of a structured interview, which had an hourly subsidy and was conducted directly at the primary school. Results: None of the respondents had a specialized course on the issue of inclusive PE until the beginning of the project. Most of them would be interested in such further education. Educators draw the most information from books and websites. Their opinion on inclusion is of interest - 67% consider school inclusion to be appropriate, a quarter of teachers disagree with inclusion and 8% have not expressed an opinion. Determining the most common functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system of primary school children, particularly in 5th grade at elementary schools in the district Tabor

This graduation thesis deals with the occurrence of the most common functional disorders of the locomotor system in children in 5th grade at elementary schools in the district of Tábor. The research was implement on twenty-two primary schools. In total, 786 children from the 36th grade in the Tábor District were monitored and evaluated. The task of the thesis was the processing of literary research based on the study of Czech and foreign literature. In addition, obtaining the approval of school principals and pupils' parents to conduct research. As part of our research, we used the test method using standardized tests for examination of body posture, according to Matthias and Jaros and Lomicek. Part of the research was also the measurement of the pupils' weight and height and the subsequent calculation of the BMI index. The collected data were processed into tables and the frequency of the faults was evaluated in the graphs. Overall results showed different values of posture assessment. According to Jaros and Lomicek, nearly 20% of children had a perfect body posture, good 72%, badly less than 8%, and very bad holdings appeared in 1.5% of the investigated. Matthias's test showed nearly 70% of good body posture, 29% of pupil posture defective and 1% defective posture with fixed deviation. The most common functional disorders of this research group include primarily enlarged lumbar lordosis. This research has confirmed the importance of everyday physical activity and compensatory exercise in the fight against functional disorders.
